The Cougar is the most widely dispersed predator in The Americas. However, they are very elusive and almost impossible to spot without the aid of dogs. The dogs follow the scent and track them until they tire and jump into a tree. No harm was done to the Cougar. We simply shot some photos and left him. The dogs live for the chase and gotsome good exercise. It is an amazing event to witness.
High Tensions
The second home game for the Jackson Hole lacrosse club was a big game. Not only did this game matter for their placement in the league but Hill Crest and Jackson hole have a major rivalry. With both teams being skilled the game was a fight to the end with many large hits, fast plays and a lot of yelling. With many of the lacrosse team players being people I go to school with. Murph 2019
This photo itself isn’t anything spectacular, but the meaning behind it is what truly drives this photo. Every year on memorial day many if not most Gyms(Primarily CrossFit gyms) partake in a workout called Murph. Murph is a workout that is to honor Michael Murphy a U.S Navy seal officer, Michael was awarded this highest medal(The medal of Honor). He gave his life to try and save his other platoon members when everything went wrong on their operation. The work out is a 1 Mile run 100 pullups 200 pushups 300 air squats and a 1 mile run. Taking this photo is special because of the event at hand, this workout brings many different types of people together of all ages and truly shows the loyalty and a the commitment one community has to everyone and the workout. The Murph photo was taken after the workout when everyone was talking to one another and laughing and fully satiating a community feel. As this photo may be simple it holds a far deeper meaning then what is show and is why I feel the need to show this photo.
Winters Recovery
With winter still dragging on through the month of May, many animals are still in a phase of recovery. Making for perfect time to find and get close to the animals. This moose seemed to be recovering well, a young male with no paddles and no sibling or friend near by. The moose kept walking back and fourth over the highway to try and find the areas with the most food. With the moose walking back and fourth, it adds for a great effect of the animals crossing the highway in the early morning
